Adventurous Couples Session in Joshua Tree National Park
While on Dustin and I’s actual honeymoon we ventured off to Joshua Tree and the Palm Springs California area. We found out that Amanda and David were also in the area and new we had to meet up with them and adventure together in Joshua Tree.
As we looked at the forecast for the day we planned to shoot it looked what was supposed to be a normal day / normal weather. Well come shoot day as we drove to the park we noticed a giant black cloud lingering on the hillside. As we drove further in…low and behold there was an actual blizzard happening as we watched the concrete turn to white fluffy snow.
But that wasn’t going to stop us!! Amanda and David being the troopers they were, were down to make it work. As soon as they got to the park and we met up with them, the sun started to shine through the clouds and we watched the snow melt away. It was surreal to witness but made our day together that much more magical!
We walked through the Joshua tree’s, climbed rocks, then wandered into the Cholla garden as we watched the sky turn into a colorful sunset.
