ROMANTIC YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK ELOPEMENT

We love Yosemite National Park. The towering cliffs and rocks that take your absolute breathe away (quite literally). Yosemite is most known for its hiking trails, and scenic areas like Half dome and Taft point. No matter what time of year you go, you’re sure to feel like you’re walking in a dream. This makes it the perfect place to elope! It’s only a couple hours from the San Fransisco, or Sacramento, making it super easy to travel to.

Things to note. You will need to make a reservation before entering the park on their site. If planning a wedding within the park you will to apply for a special use permit. Don’t worry, we can help navigate the process and make your dream day happen.

There are tons of cute airbnb’s or hotels around the Park! One of our favorites to stay is Autocamp, such a cute place and also would be perfect for photos!

For Scott & Lindsey’s Day we started at their airbnb within the park and enjoyed the early noon getting ready, detail shots, and headed up to Half Dome for their ceremony. We met their officiant and found a private spot for them to say their vows to one another. After their ceremony we headed over to Taft point for sunset and spent the rest of the evening enjoying the view and popping champagne with El Captain in the background. It felt nothing short of perfect for these two. Scott and Lindsey even had a dinner TOGO from their favorite place in the bay area waiting for them when they got back to their airbnb for dinner.

One place we really wanted to stop was Tunnel View! We didn’t get to fit it on the day before so we asked if they’d be down to meet for sunset and they were beyond thrilled. So we got there right before the sun came up and it didn’t dissapoint. It was a little smokey during this time, so the colors were light and muted but none the less beautiful.
