Waterfall Adventure Elopement at Franklin Falls & Gold Creek Pond
Ron & Chuy’s adventure elopement was nothing short of magical—full of love, laughter, and breathtaking scenery, all shared with their closest friends.
Originally, they planned to tie the knot at the courthouse. But with Chuy’s deep love for the outdoors and hiking, a close friend (who also happens to be our in-house photographer, videographer, and officiant 😉) convinced them to do something more personal and unique. He offered to ordain them in nature, creating a one-of-a-kind experience they’d never forget.
Adventure Photos at Franklin Falls
We kicked off the day with some epic pre-ceremony photos at Franklin Falls, a stunning and easily accessible trail just off I-90 near Snoqualmie, Washington. The hike is short and beginner-friendly, but the payoff is huge—a roaring, majestic waterfall that makes the perfect backdrop for adventure elopement photos.
An Intimate Ceremony at Gold Creek Pond
After exploring the falls, we made our way to Gold Creek Pond, just 15 minutes east of Franklin Falls at Snoqualmie Pass. This peaceful alpine lake is surrounded by mountain peaks and was the ideal location for Ron & Chuy’s intimate ceremony.
With clear blue skies, warm mountain air, and what felt like complete solitude, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows and rings beside the serene water, then popped champagne to celebrate their new chapter. Afterward, we explored the area and captured even more unforgettable moments.
A Day to Remember
It was an honor to be part of such a beautiful day and witness the love Ron & Chuy share. Their story is a reminder that your elopement can be anything you want—adventurous, authentic, and deeply personal.
